What is NeuroFit™? 
NeuroFit™ is a proactive approach to slowing the progression of MS, PD and other neurological movement disorders. The goal is to help anticipate, delay and prevent symptoms. In this specialized program, clients receive individual attention in private, small groups sessions.

NeuroFit™ is an exercise program for people with Parkinson's Disease or Multiple Sclerosis. Provided by Dow Rummel Retirement Village in partnership with Sanford Wellness Center, and supported and subsidized in part by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Central States Chapter and the Parkinson Association of South Dakota.


NeuroFit™ teaches:
  • Self awareness

  • Conscious muscle control


    • NeuroFit™ exercises include: fit for life bike sm
  • Stretching& loosening joints

  • Balance & coordination

  • Power breathing, vocal exercise & speech training

  • Going to the floor gracefully and recovering from a fall

  • Hand grip and dexterity training


    • Group Program
  • 4-8 people

  • 2-3 times a week


    • Fees
  • $25 assessment

  • $93 - 7 week course

  • $36 per month for graduate program at the Wellness Center
